Made for the Contest #16, whose theme was to make a hero of another contestant, based on his username there, in the three bases more commonly used at Pixel Grid.
I got , so my five minutes of research told me that a "taiko" was a japanese drum, so I decided to make a superhero based around a traditional drummer, wearing a stylized "Happi Coat robe", along with a proper sarashi.
Something I noticed is that almost all taikos had the same symbol somewhere, so I added it in the hero's chest. It's a mitsudomoe.
I think he looks like a Marvel Hero from the 90's, but I'm really happy with how he turned out.
